  •  The New Orleans Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) ranked #2 and the Baton Rouge MSA ranked #4 for estimated HIV case rates (43.4 and 36.2 per 100,000, respectively).

  • The most prominent HIV case rates are Men having Sex with Men (MSMs) and heterosexual African American females.
